Energy Tracking’s WEM-MX-24 Enhanced 5th Generation Smart Meter And Data Logger

Energy Tracking is pleased to announce the upcoming release of its next generation advanced smart meter. This 5th generation WEM-MX-24 is a compact 7.75" (L) X 5.8" (W) X 2.7" (H) kWh meter that has 24 metering inputs enabling kWh measurement for 8 three phase or 24 single phase loads. Simply said, Energy Tracking has combined 8 Three Phase kWh meters in a single compact and cost effective package.

Energy Tracking’s smart IP enabled meters allow reporting of energy usage in real time using push technology. Based on user feedback, certain implementations require local meter data access via the ModBus protocol. Push reporting technology using a XML web service to transmit data via HTTP or via FTP provides an additional advantage. Energy Tracking is pleased to announce the release for the WEM-MX 333mV energy meter which will integrate a ModBus TCP/IP Server. The ModBus TCP/IP enabled server can be utilized by end users to request data in real-time... every 1 second if necessary.

The benefits that Energy Tracking is now providing is the ability of end user's to use the latest communication and reporting technologies but also can fall back on other reporting means due to network or security issues.
